The purpose of Auburn Montessori School - The Children's House is to provide a loving, natural, prepared environment in which each child is respected for who they are as unique individuals.

This school follows the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori, her Principles of Education, and her Philosophy of Scientific Pedagogy.

Staffed with qualified and dedicated educators, we are committed to nurturing the spirit of each child, guiding them to independence and self-discipline, and educating the unique intelligence of the body, mind and spirit.

Exploring the prepared environment, each child will be educated to respect the realizations of peace, the sustainability of the environment and the betterment of one's self and humanity.
